He stayed longer than he usually did with her. They felt comfortable in each other’s company. She enjoyed his youthfulness, power &raw unbridled passion, while he loved her playfulness and assertiveness.
He knew he was deep inside a territory he had no claim over. But being a rogue Lion, he had had to take risks.
He had managed to stay hidden & undetected. But when he caught the scent of a Lioness on heat, his desires had been aroused & as they say, "good things come to those who wait," she had been the one to seek him out.
It was awkward at first, being the first time he would be in close proximity with a Lioness he was not related to. But she had made him relax by first grooming him. Then she had guided him on what to do; how to pleasure and satisfy a female on heat.
She enjoyed him being inside her, the feel of her moistness enveloping his heat always made her shiver. The vibration of her rump as he slammed in & out, and her soft cries for him to go faster and deeper, made both of them as delirious as drunken sailors.
It had been a new & exciting experience for him. He was insatiable. She was receptive. This was their third day together.

“We should send you to a retirement home,” said Tick.
“And you?” Tock asked.
“I’m not the one who has been sleeping all day.”
“I must have eaten too much. And when I eat too much, I sleep too much.”
“Well, it’s time to patrol our territory.”
“Do we even need to do that?” Tock asked.
“Yes, we must,” Tick replied.
“But we’ve not had any challenger or invader since our conquest over 5 years ago.”
“That we do not catch invaders, does not mean they aren't there,”
Hmm, true.”
“Oya, lazy bones, let’s go.”
“Do I need to go with you?”
“Yes, Old man. Get up!”
“Ok, ok, I’m coming.”
After walking around their territory &marking it with urine. They headed back to base.
Tick suddenly said, “Can you smell that?”
“Smell what?” Tock questioned.
“A Lioness on heat”
“Is she not with the other Lionesses?
“None of them have come this way today. Only her scent is here, which means she passed here today.”
“Does that mean she sneaked out? Tock asked.
“I guess so,” Tick answered.
“Why? To what end?”
“I don’t know. But we can find out.”
"Ok, let's follow her scent."

“Tell me about you,” she said softly as they cuddled each other after an intense carnal session.
“What do you want to know?” he asked.
“What or who made you leave your pride& how you ended up here.”
“It’s a long story.”
“I’m a good listener.”
He chuckled, “Ok. Everyone I loved or closely associated with is dead or at the very least, a distant memory.”
“Wow. What happened?”
“Well, about 2 years ago…”
