She wasn’t sure whether it was love, lust, or something in-between at first sight, but all she knew was that she wanted him.

She could sense a vulnerability and guardedness about him, and this intrigued her.

She had had partners, but it was usually and totally a physical attraction between them. Just sex. She didn’t stay long enough for emotional entanglements to take roots.

She stared at him.

He was at the other end of the aisle shopping for his groceries. She normally did her grocery shopping at Audl, but for some reason, she had driven to Lidl today. Maybe it was fate.

He turned to look at her and held her stare for a minute or two. They smiled at each other. Then he looked away and moved to another aisle.

If she had had any doubts about being attracted to him earlier, staring into his eyes had removed all reasonable doubts.

She had to get close to him and had a feeling he won’t make the first move.

“I guess it’s all up to me,” she thought as she hurried up with her shopping, paid, and made her to the car park.

She moved her car to where she could easily see people as they exited the store.

She smiled.

She hoped he had come with a car. Else, she might have no choice but to ram into him as he walked away from the store.
